  • In cooperation with local partners, milk and food coupons are available if needed during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
  • Funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Early Learning Child Care

  • A variety of licensed child care programs for children in Wawa, White River and Dubreuilville.
  • Registered members with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
  • Compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act and the Ministry of Education .
  • Subsidized childcare spaces available.
  • High quality programming based on current research and respect for the developing child.
  • Programming is based on the Early Learning Framework and emergent curriculum offering age and developmentally appropriate early learning activities that follow Ministry of Education guidelines.
  • Warm, nurturing and inviting environments that stimulate curiosity, independence and decision making capabilities while enhancing self-esteem.
  • Social, emotional, physical and cognitive support to the developing child language.
  • Nutritious lunches and snacks.
  • Specialized services that enable children to benefit from the full range of activities.
  • Flexicare provides services to those needing short term child care to attend an appointment, deal with an emergency or to have some time for themselves.
